Our Mission
The mission of the Atlanta Area School for the Deaf Alumni Association (Inc) is to strengthen, support, and empower the AASD alumni community. We work to preserve the legacy of the school, promote lifelong connections, and create meaningful opportunities for alumni engagement, service, and leadership.
Our mission is carried out through:
Community Building — fostering strong relationships among alumni, families, and supporters
Student Support — uplifting current AASD students through outreach, mentorship, and collaboration
Preservation of History — honoring and protecting the traditions, culture, and heritage of AASD
Advocacy & Representation — ensuring alumni voices remain active and valued within the Deaf community
Service & Engagement — encouraging alumni involvement in events, programs, and initiatives that benefit AASD and the broader community
AASDAA is committed to creating a lasting impact by connecting generations of alumni and supporting the future of the Atlanta Area School for the Deaf.
